Jocelyn (Shu-Fen) Tseng
Postdoctoral Fellow

BS, Physics, Chung Yuan University, Taiwan
MS, Physics, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan
PhD, Biomedical Engineering, University of Texas
Jocelyn Tseng obtained her BS and MS degrees in Physics in Taiwan before joining Biomedical Engineering PhD program at UT-Arlington.  Her doctoral work was a multidisciplinary endeavor spanning engineering, microscopy, molecular biology, and cancer cell biology carried out on both the UT-Arlington and UT-Southwestern campuses in Dallas.  She built a 2-photon microscope to study molecular interactions in living cells and used this system to perform a quantitative high-resolution analysis of the kinetics of interactions between oncogenic and tumor suppressor proteins.  Jocelyn is the recipient of a T32 training grant slot in Basic Aging Research at the Buck Institute.
