Neill Walsdorf Sr.


Mr. Walsdorf, Chief Executive Officer of the privately held Mission Pharmacal Company, followed in the footsteps of his father, third-generation pharmacist H. N. Walsdorf, founder of the innovative pharmaceutical company. The San Antonio native joined Mission in 1959 and held positions ranging from sales to President before he assumed the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board in 1998.

Mr. Walsdorf started out with Mission's sales and marketing force and then moved to overseeing the direction of product development in 1963. Appointments as Assistant to the President in 1965 and the Presidency in 1967 followed. Mr. Walsdorf created products critical to the growth of Mission Pharmacal Company.

Neill lives in San Antonio with his wife Beverly and has three children. He enjoys playing jazz, tennis and competitive sailing.
