Maura Burke Morey


Maura B. Morey is the Vice President of RWM Management Company.  Additionally, she serves as Trustee of the Robert W. Morey and Maura Burke Morey Charitable Trust, where she focuses her energy and resources on global issues through education, art, science and spiritual development.

Mrs. Morey began her career in education and has remained active in the field as teacher, fund raiser, or board member for the past 40 years.  Her educational development endeavors have included Georgetown University as Chair of Parents’ Annual Fund, Portsmouth Abbey School Parents’ Committee, Santa Catalina School Parents’ Committee, and Marin Country Day School.  Currently she is on the President’s Council for College of Marin, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Manhattanville College.

Contributing to the advancement of public health as an essential component of global development, Maura has served on the Women’s Board of California Pacific Medical Center Foundation and was an active member on the Advisory Board for the Alzheimer’s Association, the Little Jim Club of Children’s Hospital of San Francisco, and a member of ARCS, Achievement Rewards for College Scientists.

Spiritual development is another focus of Maura’s, typified by her current works as a member of Foundations and Donors Interested in Catholic Activities (FADICA), Member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, Member of Sovereign Military Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and Malta, and Member of the Pastor’s Advisory Committee of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, San Francisco.  Her past efforts also include being a Trustee of GAIA (Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance), Member of Catholic Charities of San Francisco, and a Member of Circle of St. Francis.

Since 1992, Mrs. Morey has been engaged in managing Casey Flat Ranch, a working cattle ranch in Guinda, California.  In 2004 Casey Flat Vineyard was added to her list of endeavors and it now produces fine estate wines.
