Lou Hawthorne

Lou Hawthorne is an innovator with 25 years of experience in biotech/life sciences, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, private equity and branding/media design.

Mr. Hawthorne is a passionate science and technology entrepreneur with multiple patents and patents pending.  He has led scientific teams developing everything from animal cloning technology to human IVF systems and advanced bioshippers.

Since fall 2013, Mr. Hawthorne has served as Entrepreneur in Residence at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.  He is currently developing a molecular device called a nano-scavenger which will be capable of removing specific molecules from circulation, a potential therapy for many diseases including cancer and autoimmune disorders, as well as the harmful effects of aging.
