Cinzia Catalfamo Akbaraly

PROFESSIONAL

Mrs. Akbaraly has had professional experiences in Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil and Soviet Union.  In 1995, she created the “Fihavanana Association” to help orphans and poor children in Madagascar, with a few projects also in India and Iraq.

In 2008, she and her husband, Ylias Akbaraly, founded the Akabaraly Foundation to develop humanitarian projects in Madagascar, focusing on a Project Against Breast and Gynecological Cancers, named “4AWOMAN”.

EDUCATION

Mrs. Akbaraly has a degree in International Economic and Business from the University L. Bocconi.

PERSONAL

Born in Milano (Italy), married to Ylias Akbaraly and a mother of four. She has resided in Madagascar since 1993.
