Brook N. Wade


Mr. Wade is the President of Wade Capital Corporation, a private investment company. From 1994 to 2005, Brooke was the co-founder and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Acetex Corporation, a formerly publicly traded chemical company specializing in acetyls, specialty polymers, and films. In July 2005, Acetex was acquired by Celanese Corporation, a transaction valued at approximately US $500 million. 

Prior to founding Acetex Corporation, Mr. Wade was founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Methanex Corporation. Mr. Wade held a number of positions with Ocelot Industries from June 1983 through September 1991, including President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. In September 1991, Ocelot Industries spun out its oil and gas assets and began a plan of growth through acquisition into what is today Methanex Corporation – the world’s largest methanol producer. Prior to joining Ocelot, Mr. Wade was involved in a number of independent business ventures.
